We’re barely two weeks removed from Michigan winning the College Football National Championship, yet Heisman Trophy odds are already up for next season.

The 23 players with the lowest odds at FanDuel are all quarterbacks, led by Quinn Ewers and Carson Beck at +750. The pair of passers each bypassed the NFL Draft to return to school.

Ewers led Texas to the College Football Playoff semifinals last season. He completed 24-of-43 passes for 318 yards and one touchdown against Washington in the Sugar Bowl, but it wasn’t enough to overturn a 37-31 loss.

On the year, Ewers completed 272 of his 394 passes for 3,479 yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Beck returns to Georgia following a standout performance in his first season as the Bulldogs’ starting quarterback. He completed 302-of-417 passes for 3,941 yards, 24 touchdowns and six interceptions as a junior, leading Georgia to a 63-3 blowout of Florida State in the Orange Bowl.

Heading into the 2024 season, the Bulldogs are favored to win the National Championship at +300.

Dillon Gabriel has the next lowest odds at +1000. He spent the last two seasons at Oklahoma but will transfer to Oregon this season to replace Bo Nix as the Ducks’ starter.

Gabriel threw 30 touchdown passes last year — the eighth-most in college football.

Ohio State transfer Will Howard and Alabama's Jalen Milroe round out the top five at +1200.

Along with Ole Miss running back Quinshon Judkins, Alabama safety Caleb Downs and Alabama quarterback Julian Sayin, Howard is part of an impressive group of players Ohio State landed in the portal.

The Buckeyes have the second-lowest odds to win it all next year at +500. Howard completed 219-of-357 passes for 2,643 yards and 24 touchdowns to go along with 81 carries for 351 yards and an additional nine scores last season at Kansas State.

Meanwhile, Milroe finished sixth in Heisman voting last year after replacing Bryce Young at Alabama. He went 187-of-284 for 2,834 yards and 23 touchdowns through the air and made a huge difference on the ground, carrying the ball 161 times for 531 yards and 12 scores.

Georgia running back Trevor Etienne enters as the top non-quarterback at +6000. The younger brother of Jaguars star Travis Etienne, the Florida transfer has carried the ball 249 times for 1,472 yards and 14 touchdowns in two seasons with the Gators. He also added 30 catches for 238 yards and one score.

The last running back to win the Heisman was Alabama's Derrick Henry in 2015.

Finally, cornerback Travis Hunter is the lowest-listed defensive player. The sophomore recorded 31 tackles with three interceptions and five passes defensed in his first season at Colorado. Hunter also made major contributions on the offensive side of the ball, hauling in 57 passes for 721 yards and five scores.

A defensive player hasn’t won the Heisman since Michigan's Charles Woodson in 1997.
