Meanwhile, I expect Coastal’s offense to show up dead on arrival.
Samari Collier is out, and he’s been the straw that stirs the drink for Coastal’s offense. Before he was inserted in the lineup, the Chants could barely get a first down. I expect the offense to regress to that level without him on Saturday — you can’t trust them to do anything without him.
James Madison’s defense is legit. The Dukes don’t allow explosives, hold opposing rushing attacks to only three yards per carry, and create more havoc than almost any team at the Group of 5 Level.
This is also the Dukes’ chance to put a bow on the perfect conference season, and perhaps make their argument to the College Football Playoff selection committee. They’ll lock in on defense.
