In a groundbreaking collaboration, MGM Resorts International and Playtech have expanded their innovative "Live from Vegas" offering by launching a live adaptation of the iconic game show Family Feud.
MGM posted the announcement on its X account:
This new feature is live-streamed directly from a studio situated on the MGM Grand's casino floor in Las Vegas, marking the first time an interactive game show has been broadcast from a casino in the City.
The move comes less than a year after BetMGM began offering Family Feud and Price is Right on the BetMGM online casino app.
A New Era for Live Casino Experiences
The introduction of Family Feud represents a significant milestone in digital gaming.
While Family Feud is the latest addition, the glass studio also features a variety of interactive table games, including blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, available to regulated market operators outside the United States. This accessible setup is open to public viewing at any time, enhancing transparency and engagement with onlookers.
Gary Fritz, President of MGM Resorts International Interactive, expressed enthusiasm over this venture, stating, "MGM Resorts, with Playtech and Fremantle, is at the forefront of digital gaming, bringing the iconic Las Vegas experience to people around the globe." He added that this launch exemplifies the company's strategy to be the world's premier gaming entertainment provider, with a commitment to innovation and memorable experiences.
Strengthening Their Strategic Partnerships
This launch is the second phase of the strategic partnership between MGM Resorts and Playtech, building on the successful debut of "Live from Vegas" in June 2024.
This initiative marked the introduction of live dealer table games streamed from MGM Grand and Bellagio Resort & Casino. Mor Weizer, CEO of Playtech, emphasized the collaboration's goal to redefine live gaming by introducing a new category of immersive entertainment content.

"We're proud to unveil our full suite of live-streamed experiences from Las Vegas, now featuring Family Feud," Weizer remarked. He highlighted the partnership's shared vision of growth in regulated markets where compliance and player protection remain priorities.
Integrating Entertainment and Innovation
Fremantle's Chief Operating Officer, Suzanne Lopez, said that this collaboration merges world-class entertainment with technological innovation and gaming expertise. The integration of Family Feud into the live dealer environment includes actual survey questions from the well-known franchise, adding authenticity to the gaming experience. "This collaboration delivers a truly unique and authentic game show experience," Lopez commented.
Looking ahead, MGM Resorts and Playtech aim to expand their portfolio further, continuing to introduce distinctive entertainment experiences synonymous with Las Vegas. Both companies are committed to promoting a safe and responsible gambling environment as their partnership progresses.
