Bears vs Seahawks Player Props

Bears vs Seahawks Prop Picks, Preview

Rome Odunze Over 41.5 Receiving Yards (-112)

He’s yet to find the end zone and yet to have a game of over 100 receiving yards, which is relatively disappointing for Rome Odunze, but he feels like a safe bet to break 41.5 receiving yards on Monday Night Football.

His performances have been pretty consistent throughout the season, with either three or four catches in five of seven games and a fairly solid 15.9 yards per catch average.

The line of 41.5 is a number that he’s surpassed in five games this season, and while the Seahawks have a strong defense, the odds imply that the Bears will be chasing in this game.

Pick: Rome Odunze Over 41.5 Receiving Yards (-112, DraftKings)

D'Andre Swift Over 3.5 Receptions (+140)

Kyle Monangai is unavailable once again for the Bears, which means it’s only Roschon Johnson eating into D’Andre Swift’s workload.

With the game expected to be close, that means we’re banking on Swift to be heavily involved. Over the previous two weeks, Swift has been on the field for 85% of offensive snaps — compared with Johnson at 15% — when the Bears are within seven points of the opposing team. That flips to Johnson, marginally, having the larger share of snaps when the team is ahead by eight or more points.

If the Bears do indeed find themselves chasing, then that means we’re likely to see Swift heavily involved in the passing game.

We’ve seen his role in the passing game develop over the past three weeks, with more targets than in any other week this season besides Week 2, and four catches in three straight games.

Pick: D'Andre Swift Over 3.5 Receptions (+140, FanDuel)

Zach Charbonnet Over 9.5 Rushing Attempts (-110)

It looks like Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price will both be active for MNF as neither carries a game designation — the Seahawks really need them back, with the run game struggling so far this season.

This will be Charbonnet’s first game of the season, so we don’t have any data to go off. He also had 10 or more carries just 10 times last season, although he was mainly working behind Kenneth Walker III. Despite that, I’m bullish on Charbonnet getting double-digit carries.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald has spoken a lot about Charbonnet this week. He’s mentioned his confidence in the running back being ready to play. He’s also spoken about Charbonnet’s pass protection being “as good as they get” and his ability to be a three-down back.

That sounds like Charbonnet will be on the field a great deal, in which case I see him taking the bulk of the team’s carries.

Pick: Zach Charbonnet Over 9.5 Rushing Attempts (-110, bet365)
