Eagles vs Commanders Prop Picks, Preview

Dallas Goedert Over 44.5 Receiving Yards (-113)

The Commanders are giving up an average of 73.5 receiving yards per game to opposing tight ends, which is the fifth-worst mark in the NFL. That bodes well for Dallas Goedert, who has been a solid option for the Eagles this season.

What further cements Goedert as the pick here is that he appears to be a safety valve for Tanner McKee, with the former Stanford man having connected with him 11 times in their two starts together, targeting him 15 times.

In those two games with McKee, we’ve seen Goedert finish with 61 and 48 receiving yards. Given the Commanders' troubles defending the position, I’m taking the Over.

Pick: Dallas Goedert Over 44.5 Receiving Yards (-113, DraftKings)

Antonio Williams Over 3.5 Receptions (+122)

With Terry McLaurin on injured reserve, someone on the Commanders needs to step up.

Before Washington's Week 7 bye, we saw Chig Okonkwo put forth a solid effort (seven receptions, 69 yards) against the 49ers, as did Stefon Diggs (six receptions, 44 yards, TD). Neither of them have the ability to be Jayden Daniels' No. 1 option, however.

That leads me to rookie Antonio Williams, who is someone who could really break out now that he has the opportunity. His route running has at times looked slick this season, and he’s clearly a very talented player.

He’s only had one game with four or more receptions this season, but conversely he’s had at least four targets in four of six games, and with McLaurin sidelined, Williams should see that target share grow.

Pick: Antonio Williams Over 3.5 Receptions (+120, BetMGM)

Jayden Daniels Anytime Touchdown (+230)

Much like at wide receiver, the Commanders don't have any standout options at running back.

It looks like it's Rachaad White's backfield, but we saw throughout his time with the Bucs that he’s superior as a pass-catching back than a pure runner. Backup Austin Ekeler is aging and not far removed from the Achilles injury that kept him out for a year.

That makes me interested in Jayden Daniels for a potential anytime touchdown. In four games, he’s scored two rushing touchdowns and is averaging 6.25 carries per game.

He’s dangerous when he scrambles and has six rushes in the red zone, tied for the most on the Commanders despite missing two games.

The Eagles are also tied for the most rushing touchdowns allowed to quarterbacks, with three given up in seven games.

Pick: Jayden Daniels Anytime Touchdown (+230 at BetMGM)
