Brandon Aiyuk Player Props: 3 Super Bowl Prop Picks

Picks: Longest Reception Over 23.5 Yards (-110) | Over 59.5 Receiving Yards (-110) | Anytime TD (+165)

My first Super Bowl prop for Brandon Aiyuk is the over on his longest reception at 24.5 yards. The Arizona State product has shown his great skill set since arriving in the NFL back in 2020 and he is now one of the 49ers' most potent weapons.

He possesses real deep threat speed and his separation is exceptional. He covered this number in the 49ers' win over the Lions, even if there was a lot of fortune in that long touchdown; he was quiet by his standards in the two games prior.

Don’t worry though, Aiyuk has had a 25-plus-yard reception in 10-of-18 games this season and he has the tools to pull it off against a stout Chiefs defense.

Pick: Brandon Aiyuk Longest Reception Over 23.5 Yards (-110)

If it wasn’t for that lucky reception against the Lions, perhaps I'd be saying Aiyuk hasn’t really shown up in the playoffs — remove that 51-yard catch and he’d be at 49 yards in two games. However, big games are where big players step up.

When Aiyuk goes big, he often goes really big. He’s hit over 59.5 receiving yards in nine of his 18 games this season. In those nine games he went over, he tallied at least 100 yards in seven of them.

It’s fair to say Aiyuk can be boom-or-bust and I wouldn’t blame people for being worried about the Chiefs defense, but let’s not forget that they got torched by Zay Flowers. If it wasn’t for L’Jarius Sneed, we’d be writing about Aiyuk against the Ravens secondary.

Pick: Brandon Aiyuk Over 59.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

With eight touchdowns in 18 games, you’re not looking at a wideout who is overly prolific, but I can’t help but feel +175 for Aiyuk to find the end zone is simply too big. That implies a 36.4% chance of Aiyuk scoring. My only calculations would have his chances slightly higher and eight TDs in 18 games would also indicate a number closer to 44%.

Yes, the Chiefs' pass defense is good, but he’s a target that Brock Purdy really trusts. Aiyuk can either be an option in the red zone or as a deep threat.

You’re getting a good price on a talented WR who can beat the defense in a variety of ways — take that +175 while you can.

Pick: Brandon Aiyuk Anytime TD (+165)
