Week 4 in the NFL kicks off with an NFC East divisional rivalry between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants.
This duel kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video, and will feature two 1-2 teams looking to right the ship early in the season.
Below, I have three Cowboys vs. Giants anytime touchdown player props for Thursday Night Football on September 26.
Gilles Gallant's Cowboys vs. Giants Anytime Touchdown Player Props
Jake Ferguson is the true No. 2 target in this Cowboys offense. He has no touchdowns yet this year, but I love this matchup for him.
While he suffered an MCL sprain in the opening week, the tight end looked healthy in Week 3, with 10 targets and 95 receiving yards against the Ravens.
Last year against the Giants, Ferguson saw 14 targets (seven of those targets were in the red zone) in two games and scored a touchdown. Fast forward to 2024, and the Giants rank 28th in defensive DVOA vs. tight ends.
Plus, I think because Ferguson hasn't scored yet this season, we're getting a bit of a discount on the line. He was +240 to score in Week 9 last season against the Giants. After he scored a touchdown in that game, his average anytime touchdown odds from Week 10 to Week 18 were +155.
Daniel Jones is third in the NFL in red zone carries (eight) for all quarterbacks this year.
And his matchup is really solid as the Cowboys' defense is getting shredded by the run. They've given up 5.4 yards per carry in 2024 with eight rushing touchdowns, including two coming from quarterbacks.
Saints QB Derek Carr scoring is an anomaly, but in Week 3, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson showed us that RPO in the red zone can still be effective against Dallas.
I expect Danny Dimes to do a poor-man's Josh Allen impression by using his legs to negate the Cowboys' pass rush. The Giants' offensive line hasn't been good for years, and it's still giving up a lot of pressure early in this season.
At minimum, Jones or RB Devin Singletary is due to score in this game. But I'd rather go with Jones to get his first career rushing touchdown against the Cowboys.
Everyone is rightfully excited about Giants rookie WR Malik Nabers, but Robinson has unexpectedly been getting a ton of volume.
The 2022 second round pick has been Jones' main checkdown option and is top-15 in the NFL in targets.
Robinson scored a touchdown in Week 2 against the Commanders, and he has five red zone targets through three games, with at least one coming in each outing.
The Cowboys have been playing zone defense at a top-six rate through three games, and Robinson's receiver metrics have all gone up when targeted against a zone.
If the Cowboys make it a point to shut down Nabers — which they should — I like Robinson to score instead.
