The Jaguars vs. Saints spread has been all over the place since Sunday night.

This line opened at Saints -1 on Sunday night, but it moved in a noteworthy way on Monday. New Orleans, as of 6:15 p.m. ET on Monday, had received 61% of the bets from the public. That moved the line from Saints -1 to -3.

A big reason for that line movement was news that Trevor Lawrence's knee injury might keep him out of the game. Then, on Tuesday, Lawrence said that his knee was feeling better and he was hoping to play in the game. That sent the line right back down to Saints -1.

The total also keeps moving down. It opened at 42.5 on Sunday night, and it was 38.5 on Tuesday morning with news of Lawrence's injury. It was back up to 39.5 on Tuesday afternoon after the Jags QB expressed optimism about playing.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars are trending upward after a rough start to the season. After beating the Colts in Week 1 on the road, Jacksonville lost to the Chiefs and Texans at home before heading across the pond.

In London, things turned around. Jacksonville handled the Falcons and then impressively took care of business against the Bills. The Jags were a popular fade in Week 6 as they returned stateside to face the Colts at home, but they covered and won by 17.

Jacksonville is 4-2 against the spread this season, having covered in each of its last three games. The Jags are an even 3-3 to the over.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints are 3-3 this season with a new face under center, but they've lost three of their last four games as the offense has sputtered. In those three losses to the Packers, Buccaneers and Texans, New Orleans is averaging 13 points per game.

The real story around the Saints this season is that the under has hit in all six of their games. New Orleans' defense is among the best in the NFL and is playing like it while the offense gets its act together.

Early Picks & Predictions

Brandon Anderson is going to keep playing Saints unders. He locked in 42.5 on Sunday night, but that total is already down to 40. Anthony Dabbundo got in on the party at 42.5, as well, before it moved down to 39 on Monday.

Don't let the low total fool you, though. Every Saints game this season has gone below 40. The highest total was 37 back in Week 2 against the Panthers on Monday Night Football.
