Sunday's Week 3 slate has 4 NFL games worth a closer look, from a trip to Rio de Janeiro to a primetime clash in Denver.
Polymarket lists much more than a winner for each one, including markets for passing, rushing, and receiving yards. Be sure to check our Polymarket review, and download the Action Network app for more picks and analysis. Below is a quick read on each winner market and the player combos that could make sense.
NFL Week 3 on Polymarket
Prediction markets let you trade on real-world outcomes. Each contract is priced between 0 and 100 cents, and the price shows how likely the crowd thinks an outcome is. If your side is right, the contract pays $1. Prices move as injury news and matchup analysis come in, so you can enter or exit before kickoff.
Every game also has several markets, not just the winner. Polymarket lists spreads, totals, and player markets, and a combo links a few of them from the same game into one idea. Many player markets are new and have little trading activity, so some prices look odd. Read them as a preview of the lines, not a settled price.
Chiefs vs Dolphins
Kansas City is 2-0 after a 31-10 win over Denver and a 33-30 overtime win over Indianapolis, and the winner market treats the Chiefs as heavy favorites. Miami is 0-2 and has been outscored 62-26, with quarterback Malik Willis taking nine sacks in two games.
Patrick Mahomes threw for 382 yards and three touchdowns against the Colts, so a combo of a Chiefs win and Mahomes clearing his passing-yards line (224.5) fits the story. The other side has an angle too. If the Dolphins fall behind, quick throws to De'Von Achane could bring his receiving-yards line (29.5) into play.
Bengals vs. Steelers
This AFC North game has the most trading volume of the five. Cincinnati is 2-0 after a 20-6 win in Houston, and the market leans toward the Bengals. Pittsburgh is 1-1 after a 20-3 loss to New England.
Two player lines stand out. Joe Burrow's passing-yards line (249.5) is high for a quarterback who has yet to post a big yardage game this season. DK Metcalf's receiving line (49.5) follows his workload: 19 targets, but only eight catches for 67 yards. If his production catches up with his volume, that line could look low.
Ravens vs. Cowboys
Both teams are 1-1, and the game is set for Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, with Dallas as the designated home team. The market leans toward Baltimore. Lamar Jackson threw for 324 yards against Indianapolis and 235 against New Orleans, clearing his 224.5 passing-yards line both times. Derrick Henry adds to the load with 212 rushing yards and four touchdowns through two games.
Dallas has its own case. Dak Prescott threw four touchdowns against Washington, and no team is passing more than the Cowboys relative to game situations. That puts CeeDee Lamb (79.5) and George Pickens (49.5) in play. A combo of both quarterbacks clearing their touchdown-pass lines (1.5) is one way to trade a shootout.
Rams vs. Broncos
Both teams lost by double digits in Week 1 and bounced back in Week 2. The Rams beat the Giants 28-6, with Davante Adams posting 195 receiving yards, while Denver beat Jacksonville 20-13 behind 288 passing yards from Bo Nix. The winner market gives the Rams a modest edge after swinging toward Denver earlier in September.
The player markets set up a clash of strengths. Rams running backs are rarely hit at or behind the line of scrimmage, while Denver ranks second in limiting yardage before contact, so the rushing lines for Kyren Williams and Blake Corum (both 39.5) carry real tension. Nix's rushing line (14.5) also looks high next to the eight yards he has on eight carries.
Winner markets show where the crowd stands, and player markets are where disagreements tend to show up first. Check prices close to kickoff, since inactive lists and injury news can move them quickly.
