Steelers vs Vikings Prop Picks, Preview
While I don't have a ton of faith in Pittsburgh's offense as a whole this week, Jaylen Warren's receiving total seems way too low.
His role in the offense has grown in each of the first three games of the season.
Last week, we saw him play 78% of the snaps and run a route on 47% of dropbacks.
Aaron Rodgers is more than willing to dump the ball off to his running backs, especially when under pressure.
Given the fact that Minnesota is 2nd in pressure rate this season, this is a spot where Warren could see 6-8 targets.
Pick: Jaylen Warren Over 21.5 Receiving Yards (-140)
By Brit Devine
Before last week's game, we saw Aaron Rodgers tell everyone that Warren needed to be on the field more.
Warren then went on to have a season-high 82% of RB rush attempts.
He ranks 5th in the league in missed tackles forced, which is a good barometer for talent, and has the 5th-most rushing attempts inside the 20, the 4th-most inside the 10, and the 4th-most inside the 5-yard line this year.
The Vikings' defense is good, and they are doing things pre-snap to make it very difficult for QBs to read coverage, but getting these odds for a bell cow RB are simply too good to pass up, as I expect Warren to continue to dominate the Steelers' touches out of the backfield.
Pick: Jaylen Warren Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+165)
