It's a confusing time to be a Patriots fan.

The regular season was easy enough. We still had a team to root forfollow scream at while Brady and Gronky seemed equally concerned with their sunbathing show as their football team. We were here and they were there, and it didn't feel as though choosing a side was an absolutely necessary step.

Well, a few months have passed and we're still here and they're still there, except "here" is shoveling out our snowed-in, frozen-over cars while our organization attempts to portray New England as a desirable landing spot to some mediocre quarterback, and "there" is … another Super Bowl week.

That means there's no more avoiding the side-choosing. You're either with Tom or against him this week (and the former is the correct choice, tough as it may be).

And while bettors outside the New England area probably don't care too much about any of the sentimental crap, they're faced with almost an equally difficult decision — especially if they're looking to base their play off Brady's Super Bowl history.

That's because the winningest player in Super Bowl history hasn't been all that great against the spread in the big game.

Brady's winning record in Super Bowl's hasn't reflected as such for spread bettors, as he's covered in just four of his six victories to this point (and all three losses came as a favorite).

Anyone who has believed solely in Tom's winning ability, however, has come out on top rather comfortably — though that "believing" would've required foreseeing a major upset in Brady's first appearance back in 2002.

As for those who just like to root for points, like the spread bettors, you'd be coming out short of a profit, with Brady's Super Bowls hitting the over in just four of nine tries.

Below you'll find the complete betting log of those nine Brady Bowls.
