Aces vs. Sparks Preview

Cameron Brink is set to make her season debut as the Sparks host the Aces in Los Angeles. Brink, who has been out while recovering from a torn ACL, averaged 7.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game before getting hurt just 15 games into her rookie season.

Brink will rejoin a Sparks team that is playing well, having won five straight and six of seven. Meanwhile, the Aces are coming off a 26-point win, but have lost two of their past three.

These teams split their first two meetings this season, but both those games took place in Las Vegas. How will the change in venue impact tonight's result? Let's dig into the matchup.

Dano Mataya's Aces vs. Sparks Prediction

I think the wrong team's favored here, it's really pretty simple.

Yes, there's a letdown opportunity after the Sparks' buzzer-beating win in New York, but they're back home and get Cameron Brink back in the lineup. This is also definitely a rivalry for a few players involved it's Kelsey Plum's first time hosting the Aces in Los Angeles.

The Aces had some great shooting against a poor Dallas defense (without Paige Bueckers, so they're probably feeling good. However, the Sparks are hot and have won five straight.

To me, these teams aren't that far off and the Sparks are at home in front of what should be a good crowd. I think they get the win here.

Best Bet: Sparks Moneyline
