Action Network's Director of Predictive Analytics, Sean Koerner, has identified three plays for Week 2 in the XFL.

D.C. Defenders vs. Vegas Vipers (Saturday; 7 p.m. ET)

WR Martavis Bryant (Vipers)
Over 35.5 Receiving Yards

Bryant is one of the top WRs in the XFL and his Week 1 usage was borderline elite — 97% routes run rate and 21% target rate. Unfortunately, he only caught 4-of-9 targets for 28 yards.

Of the nine players who saw at least eight targets last week, Bryant was the only one who failed to clear 50 yards. Going forward, we should expect his catch rate to be closer to 63% based on his 10.5 aDot.

This is a great spot to buy low on Bryant as I’m projecting him closer to 43.5 yards.

San Antonio Brahmas vs. Orlando Guardians (Sunday; 4 p.m. ET)

RB Jah-Maine Martin (Guardians)
Over 35.5 Rushing Yards

In Week 1, Martin had a rushing line of nine carries for 41 yards. However, Orlando had to abandon the run due to getting blown out 33-12 to Houston.

Despite this, Martin still managed to be the clear lead back, with a 56% share of the team's rushing attempts. Assuming that Orlando will run the ball more in the upcoming game, Martin should surpass his previous performance. I’m projecting him closer to 50.5 rushing yards.

Arlington Renegades vs. Houston Roughnecks (Sunday, 7 p.m. ET)

WR Tyler Vaughns (Renegades)
Over 35.5 Receiving Yards

Vaughns operated as the clear No. 1 WR for the Renegades in Week 1 with a 97% routes run rate and 17% target rate that resulted in four receptions for 38 yards.

The Renegades only had 25 pass attempts in their 22-20 win over the Vipers, but I’m expecting them to throw at a much higher rate in order to keep up with Houston.

Vaughns should benefit from the added volume and I’m projecting him closer to 42.5 yards.
