The Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua fight will be one of the most-watched sporting events of the year — and maybe one of the most-bet, too. But if you're in states like California or Texas, you can't bet on those platforms anyway (though you do have other options).
If you're not in a state with legal betting, or in one that's not offering the fight, the most straightforward way to get action down is on a prediction market like Kalshi. It's available in all 50 states, and you can trade on the winner before and during the match.
You can also use a social/sweepstakes sportsbook like Fliff or Rebet that are not subject to the same regulatory approvals as traditional sportsbooks, and are available in 30+ states. Or you can use a DFS site like Underdog or PrizePicks, which doesn't allow you to take the winner of the fight, but allows you to build lineups around boxer stats like total punches landed, fantasy score, and total fight time.
How to Trade Paul vs. Joshua on Kalshi
You can read our beginner's guide on how to trade on Kalshi, but it's pretty straightforward. All contracts settle at $1.
The percentages represent the market's estimation that the outcome will happen — i.e. Joshua as of Thursday has about an 86% chance to win.
So when you buy Joshua at 86 cents, and he wins, you'll get $1 back, for a profit of 14 cents.
If you buy Paul at 14 cents and he wins, you'll get $1 back for every contract you bought, for a profit of 86 cents per contracts.

There are also alternative markets, like method of victory.
Joshua to win by KO/TKO/DQ is 74% "yes", Joshua by decision or technical decision is 17%, etc.
That means the market thinks it is most likely outcome is Joshua to win by KO/TKO/DQ.

Paul vs. Joshua Alternate Options
There are two types other options to get action down on Paul vs. Joshua, though there are now dozens of operators in each of those buckets.
The first is DFS, which allows you to select boxer/player stats and build slips around those stats.
DFS
- PrizePicks: At PrizePicks, they offer stats like total fight time, punches landed, and fantasy score.
- Underdog: Underdog has some options for Paul fights as well — fight time, knockdowns, and total punches landed.
- Sleeper: Sleeper is also offering a few categories, and at least one different one from the other DFS sites — knockouts.
Not every DFS site offers boxing stats, but PrizePicks has them for Joshua vs. Paul and almost always lists them for Paul's fights.

Social/Sweepstakes Sportsbook
Confused about social/sweepstakes betting? Read more up on how they work and their legality here. It's similar to real betting, but you're making a purchase to put money on the platform, not depositing.
Several of these platforms, including Fliff and Rebet, are available in 30+ states.
