The Los Angeles Dodgers have long been the powerhouse in the National League, holding a stronghold over the top spot on the World Series oddsboard all season.

That is, until now.

For the first time all season, the Dodgers woke up without being the betting favorite to win the World Series at BetMGM.

Los Angeles dropped a 1-0 heartbreaker at home to the San Francisco Giants on Monday night, falling behind 2-1 in the best-of-five series. As low as +230 entering Game 2 with the series tied at one win apiece, the loss dropped the Dodgers to +550.

That makes the Dodgers' price as long as it's been all season, which only lasted for two innings live during the Wild Card game against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals held a 1-0 lead through three innings.

The honor of betting favorite to win the World Series at BetMGM now belongs to the Houston Astros, who own a 2-1 series lead over the Chicago White Sox in the ALDS and sit at +275. The Giants are +300 with a chance to clinch a spot in the NLCS on  Tuesday. Boston, having already advanced to the ALCS, is +375.

The Astros jumped the Dodgers as betting favorites at FanDuel after L.A. lost Game 1 of the NLDS.

The Dodgers are -155 favorites over the Giants in Tuesday's Game 4 at Dodger Stadium. The Giants will send Anthony DeSclafani to the mound. The Dodgers, at time of publish, had not announced a starting pitcher.
