After hitting 12 home runs in June, Kyle Schwarber hasn't slowed down in July and is on the heels of Aaron Judge for the 2022 Major League Baseball crown.

Through six days in July, Schwarber has four home runs putting his total at 27 on the season. Despite his torrid pace, Schwarber still trails Judge by three home runs entering Thursday's play. He closed the gap on Judge to two on Wednesday before Judge's grand slam put his total to 30 on the year.

According to odds at FanDuel, Judge is still the -140 favorite to lead the majors in home runs. Schwarber is down to +360 after his two-homer night.

Schwarber's home run total is already the fourth-best mark in his career. He hit 30 home runs in 2017 and 38 in 2019, both with the Chicago Cubs. He hit 32 home runs in 2021 between the Washington Nationals and Boston Red Sox.

Judge has his sights set higher than just a home run total, as his Yankees are the World Series favorite and he's the odds-on favorite to win MVP. He might get all three honors.

With 30 home runs, he's already just nine away from is total in 2021. His career high came in his first full season in 2017 when he hit 52 homers. He won Rookie of the Year that season and finished second in MVP voting.

They're not the only two crushing baseballs this season.

It seems like Yordan Alvarez is hitting a homer every night. With 25 home runs, he's at +600 to finish the year with the most in baseball. That's two more than Mike Trout (+1200) and three more than Pete Alonso (+1400) and Byron Buxton (+4000).

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has +2000 odds despite sitting 11 homers behind Judge. Yankees teammate Giancarlo Stanton has 21 home runs on the year and is +3200.
