The Braves are visiting the Marlins. The top three seeds in the NL have already been decided, and it will go: Brewers, Dodgers, Braves. So Atlanta will host a team in the Wild Card round, but now they'll face the Fish for one last time this season at loanDepot park in Miami.
Feels like this could be a good spot where the Braves just don't care and just rest their guys for the Wild Card round. But I'm sure that has nothing to do with this pitcher win prop. Instead, there is value on this pitcher.
Eury Perez to record the win, +313 at DraftKings, and I like it down to +227.
Perez is a guy that I haven't been big on. THE BAT X has not liked his stuff as much as the general consensus does, but it's showing value here. So I feel like when there's a guy that it doesn't really like and it's showing value on it, that's just like an automatic green flag. Just give me that bet because it's not big on Perez, but the Braves may be rolling out Ray Kerr to start a bullpen game in a game where they kind of need to save their good guys for the playoffs.
The Fish have also been emptying the tank at the end of the regular season. Sandy Alcantara being used for saves. Eury's been coming out of the pen. It's been a really interesting situation.
I think maybe that's why we're getting offered this on Eury, because he just came out of the pen a couple days ago. But it's basically a side session for him. It's not going to affect his ability to go five innings in this game, I don't think.
The manager is just out there saying, "Let's win as many games as possible, even though we're eliminated." So I think this is a really good spot for the Marlins.
