For my World Series Game 6 player props, I'll be looking into Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman and Dodgers slugger Shohei Ohtani.
Let's dive into my MLB player prop picks for Game 6 of the World Series on Friday, October 31.
MLB Player Props for October 31, 2025
Kevin Gausman takes the ball for the second time in this World Series, and he has the opportunity to not only build off what he did in Game 2 but also what his Jays' teammate Trey Yesavage did in Game 5.
Yesavage dominated the Dodgers by tunneling his fastball and splitter.
Los Angeles has not hit splitters well all season long. The likes of Will Smith, Kike Hernandez, Teoscar Hernandez, Max Muncy, Andy Pages, and Alex Call all have strikeout rates above 30% against splitters this season.
With nearly two-thirds of the Dodgers' lineup vulnerable to striking out in this matchup, Gausman has tremendous strikeout upside. In this postseason, his CSW is elite, and his first-pitch strike rate is back above average.
Look for Gausman to have the Dodgers flailing tonight.
Pick: Kevin Gausman Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+140, bet365)
All eyes are on Shohei Ohtani as he has carried the Dodgers in this series, but the Blue Jays have begun to contain him by taking the bat out of his hands and limiting the amount of hittable pitches he sees overall.
Don't let the intentional walks fool you: Ohtani is a guy who isn't afraid to take his hacks, chase, and strike out. Ohtani has stayed under this walk total in 86% of games this season and has yet to walk against Gausman in 12 at-bats; he's struck out in six of those matchups.
So, while this may be a good amount of juice to lay here, his season-long hit rate equates to a -614 moneyline. This line should be well north of -200, so take the value here.
Pick: Shohei Ohtani Under 1.5 Hitter Walks (-170, bet365)
