Cubs vs Cardinals Preview
We will ride with the road team this afternoon.
Chicago, after losing the first two games of the series, bounced back with an 8-0 win last night.
Today, the Cubs will send southpaw Shota Imanaga to the mound. The Cubs' ace hasn't pitched since May 4th and has been dealing with a hamstring injury. Regardless, I expect Imanaga to be sharp today and slow down the Cardinals' offense.
St Louis will send Andrew Pallante to the mound. The right-hander has struggled at home this season with an ERA north of 4.00 and will have trouble with this dynamic Chicago offense.
I love the value of this prop at plus money.
The Cubs outfielder matches up well with Pallante and is 4-10 in his career against the Cardinals starter, including two extra-base hits.
