MLB Home Run Picks for June 3

Kyle Schwarber (+265)
at Blue Jays (SP: RHP Bowden Francis)

I'm targeting basically all the left-handed hitters on the Phillies today.
Blue Jays right-hander Bowden Francis might be the best matchup in the league for lefty power hitters. He has been absolutely crushed this season by LHH, giving up a massive 3.45 HR/9.
He hasn't been much better in his career (2.11 HR/9 to lefties), and the fly-ball rate is massive.
Kyle Schwarber is one of the best home run hitters in the league, and the true odds here are around +200, making this a great bet.

Bryce Harper (+320)
at Blue Jays (SP: RHP Bowden Francis)

Everything I said above applies here for Bryce Harper, who still has a ton of pop at this point in his career, and the spot is far too good to pass up.
I have the true odds here around +250, making this a great bet.

Kerry Carpenter (+430)
at White Sox (SP: RHP Shane Smith)

I have no idea why the odds are so high for Kerry Carpenter today.
He is coming off a massive three-homer game, and the weather in Chicago shouldn't be bad, with winds crossing and temps in the low-80s during game time.
White Sox right-hander Shane Smith has been good this season at limiting power, but he's due for some pretty massive regression vs. lefties, with a 41.7% fly-ball rate but only a 5.7% HR/FB rate.
He grades out as a good overall matchup for lefty power, and I have the true odds here around +350, making this a great bet.

Brent Rooker (+400)
vs. Twins (SP: RHP Pablo Lopez)

I'm going heavy on Athletics bats today as the spot is too good to pass up.
Sutter Health Park has been one of the best ballparks in the league for power this season and the weather is great for hitting tonight — temperatures are in the mid 80s during gametime and the wind is blowing out at 10 mph.
Twins starter Pablo Lopez isn't a bad pitcher, but he grades out as an average to above average matchup against both sides of the plate. He's allowed above average power to lefties over the last few years and average power to righties.
I have the true odds on Rooker around +300.
