I'm backing the Padres to bounce back after Wednesday's gross, 14-0 loss behind superstar player Fernando Tatis Jr.
Tatis went 0-for-4 during the shutout. He's only had four hitless games this season, but he's followed up all four with a hit in the next game.
He also has substantial numbers against Bowden Francis' pitch mix.
I expect Francis to struggle against Tatis and San Diego's star-studded lineup.

The Padres have been struggling lately, currently riding a five-game losing streak. They have yet to score in Toronto, but that should change on Thursday.
The Padres are positioned to win today thanks to their better hitting and starting pitching.
