The Rangers will hand the ball to their ace, Jacob deGrom. He’s been outstanding this season, posting a 2.29 ERA — sixth-best in the league. The veteran has also dominated this Astros lineup, holding them to a .171 batting average over 41 at-bats.
On the other side, southpaw Framber Valdez gets the nod for Houston. Valdez has been lights out at home, recording a 1.83 ERA this year.
