Toronto Blue Jays vs Baltimore Orioles MLB Preview
Chris Bassitt Over 17.5 Outs Recorded (-120)
Chris Bassitt is now 11-4 on the season with a 3.88 ERA.
He’s now covered this line in three straight games (one game he got pulled for precaution) and has been pretty solid since the All-Star break.
In his last matchup against the Yankees, he threw seven innings and allowed just three hits while racking up eight strikeouts.
Although the Orioles are coming off a hot weekend, they played the Rockies, so does that even really count?
When facing Baltimore back in March, Bassitt gave up one earned run with seven strikeouts.
Blue Jays Moneyline (-114)
We are also backing the Blue Jays to win here.
On the opposing side of the bump tonight is Zach Eflin, who has been an up-and-down roller coaster all season.
He’s given up 19 runs in his last four starts.
I’m expecting the Jays' lineup to get runs on the board and support Bassitt early.
To start the series, we’ll take the Blue Jays and back Bassitt to play well.
