Blue Jays vs Tigers Preview, Picks
The Tigers offense has produced eight runs combined in the last four games for a mere two-run average.
In 2025, they rank ninth in wRC+ with 104.
However, in July, they are currently sitting 29th out of 30 teams with 80, just ahead of the terrible Pittsburgh Pirates.
The last two games of this series had scores of 6-2 and 6-1, so the under at 8.5 is in play again for this final contest, especially with Detroit on a month-long slump.
The Blue Jays offense is much more potent, but Jack Flaherty has much better splits at home, with a 3.71 ERA at Comerica Park compared to his awful 6.28 ERA on the road.
This aligns with our Bet Labs recommendation for the Under.
This system targets unders in MLB series games (Game 2 or later) where both teams have winning records, suggesting quality pitching and competitive matchups.
However, public betting leans toward the over — likely expecting fireworks between top teams — which creates contrarian value on the under.
By capitalizing on low public support for the under (≤35%), the strategy fades public perception in favor of market inefficiencies, especially when bettors overestimate offensive output late in a series.
Pick: Under 8.5 (-110)
