Magic vs. 76ers
The Orlando Magic gave up a lot to acquire Desmond Bane from the Memphis Grizzlies last season in hopes of improving their outside shooting ahead of the 2025-26 season. However, they remain one of the league's least productive teams from distance.
Orlando ranks 24th in 3-pointers made per game (11.7) and is a bottom-five team in 3-point percentage (34.3%). Jalen Suggs' recent shot volume from beyond the arc could make him an interesting player prop target for Wednesday, though.
Suggs, a career 33.1% 3-point shooter, leads the Magic in 3-point makes (2.1) and attempts (6.3) per game this season. He ramped those numbers up in early April by making 3.7 triples per game on 8.3 attempts per contest over his previous six outings — and he has converted those looks at a 44.0% rate during that span.
Players can tighten up in a postseason environment, but Suggs' boost in efficiency should help him carry plenty of confidence into his impending matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Pick: Jalen Suggs Over 2.5 3-pointers (+161)
Warriors vs. Clippers
Stephen Curry missed 39 regular-season games this season, but the Golden State Warriors still managed to lead the league in 3-point attempts per game (44.1).
Curry is back in the mix as a starter for Wednesday's clash with the Los Angeles Clippers. His return to his usual role will likely significantly lessen the impact of another Dubs starter.
Porzingis is known as a floor-stretching big man, but his 3-point shooting numbers are nearing career lows. The former Atlanta Hawks center has shot just 31.1% from deep since joining the Warriors via midseason trade, and his long-range production falls off a cliff when Curry starts.
Porzingis is averaging 16.1 points per game with Golden State, but that figure has dropped to 10.7 points when Curry is active.
While the three-game sample size we have to pull from is small, it's worth noting that Porzingis has made just one of the 10 3-pointers he's attempted playing alongside Curry.
Curry will be the focal point of Golden State's offense in this must-win game, so bettors shouldn't be surprised if Porzingis becomes an afterthought. Especially given the fact that he's 1-for-9 from deep through two meetings with Los Angeles this season and has shot just 31.9% from distance through 21 career starts against Brook Lopez.
Al Horford could very well end up splitting the center minutes down the middle if Porzingis isn't effective on the offensive end.
Pick: Kristaps Porzingis Under 1.5 3-pointers (+103)
