Trail Blazers vs. Jazz
Jrue Holiday Over 4.5 Assists
Ja Morant is out, which should open the door for Jrue Holiday to enter the starting lineup for the Blazers.
Holiday should be a pretty seamless fit, particularly with his facilitating.
Jrue had a 32% assist rate last season in Portland.
Pick: Jrue Holiday Over 4.5 Assists (-140)
76ers vs. Hornets
Over 215.5
By Bet Labs
The market has pushed the total down to 215.5 for Saturday’s tilt in Charlotte, creating an ideal buy-low spot aligned with our Bet Labs system titled "Talented Road Trip Overs."
The system exploits early-season pricing inefficiencies in October and November, capitalizing on proven, playoff-caliber rosters whose recent scoring lulls depress market expectations just as offensive execution begins to outpace unsettled road defenses.
Philadelphia heads to Charlotte atop the Eastern Conference at 5-1, fresh off a grinding 98-93 defensive slugfest against the Knicks where the pace slowed to an uncharacteristic 89.2 possessions.
That performance depressed the Sixers' scoring averages to 108.7 PPG (26th) and offensive rating to 107.2 (25th), creating a deflated perception of this offense.
Despite those low-scoring totals, Nick Nurse's unit operates at a baseline pace of 101.3 (10th in the NBA) and demonstrated its high ceiling earlier this month with consecutive outbursts of 114, 127, and 114 points against Cleveland, Milwaukee, and Indiana.
Philadelphia’s shooting efficiency remains sharp—posting a .597 True Shooting percentage and a 70.3% assist rate in their last outing—signaling that last game's low total was a product of New York's deliberate half-court grind rather than systemic scoring stagnation.
The Hornets present the perfect catalyst for a high-scoring rebound. Charlotte enters on a brief offensive slide of its own, managing just 89 and 79 points on the road against Detroit and Washington, sinking their offensive output to a league-worst 97.3 PPG.
However, returning to Spectrum Center historically unlocks this young core's rhythm. Charlotte hoisted 3-pointers at an extraordinary rate during that road stretch—logging a .493 3PAr against the Pistons and .554 against the Wizards—and a return home should see that high-volume shot selection convert into points against a Philadelphia defense vulnerable to fatigue on the road.
Back the Over 215.5 as tempo and shot-making rebound to early-season norms.
Pick: Over 215.5 (-105)
Kings vs. Grizzlies
Ty Jerome Over 22.5 Points
By Joe Dellera
The Grizzlies are facing off against the Kings once again, and I am going right back to the well with Ty Jerome to go over 22.5 points at -107 on DraftKings.
I know he has had a couple of down games recently, but if you look closer at the underlying context, there is absolutely no reason to panic. Jerome is still seeing an outrageous amount of offensive volume and shot attempts; he has simply been the victim of some negative shooting variance over this short stretch.
When a player is getting that kind of consistent volume, the positive regression is inevitable, and there is no better get-right spot than against this porous Sacramento defense.
We already have the blueprint for how this specific matchup plays out, as Jerome absolutely torched this same Kings team for 31 points previously.
Sacramento is exceptionally weak when it comes to defending opposing guards. They struggle mightily to contain the pick-and-roll, routinely allowing ball-handlers to walk right into clean looks or get downhill.
The Kings are also highly susceptible to giving up transition opportunities, which fits Jerome's ability to push the pace and find easy buckets before the defense can even get set.
Don't let a brief dip in variance scare you off the underlying math here. The opportunities are going to be there all night, and I fully expect him to carve up this Sacramento backcourt yet again.
Pick: Ty Jerome Over 22.5 Points (-107)
Timberwolves vs. Spurs
Spurs -11.5
As injuries rise, Anthony Edwards' arthroscopic knee surgery and two-month absence surge to the top of the most impactful ones.
Still, Minnesota is 4-2 arriving into tonight, coming off a 127-101 win over the Clippers on Friday in their 2026 NBA Cup debut.
The Wolves are just 1-1 without Edwards, so we have no long-term outlook on how this has impacted them yet, with their lone loss coming against the Warriors.
As for the Spurs, after a surprising 0-2 start, they've looked like themselves, rattling off three straight wins.
Coming into tonight, the Spurs have a two-night rest advantage, having most recently played the Jazz on Wednesday night and winning in overtime on the road.
We don't have much of a sample of the Wolves without Ant, but the second game of a back-to-back against a rested Spurs team in San Antonio tells me not to overthink this.
Let's go with Spurs -11.5. No Ant, possibly others, and the Wolves flew from Minnesota to San Antonio.
Things don't always go how they should in the NBA, especially early, but this has all the makings of a big Spurs night on paper.
Pick: Spurs -11.5 (-110)
Terrence Shannon Over 12.5 Points
Terrence Shannon had his minutes reduced for some defensive miscues and fouls last night.
Even with a Bones Hyland explosion off the bench, Shannon still got to 11 points in 20 minutes.
Shannon's on-court role is still extremely strong, and coming off the bench allows him to avoid a lot of the Wemby minutes, so he can attack the rim relentlessly like he did in the playoffs last season.
