  • Sunday's NBA slate features two player prop bets offering value.
  • This piece will focus on Spurs PF/C LaMarcus Aldridge and Lakers F LeBron James.

Sunday’s best NBA player props focus on two of the slate's five remaining games:

  • San Antonio Spurs at Boston Celtics: 7:30 p.m. ET on NBATV
  • Sacramento Kings at Los Angeles Lakers: 9:30 p.m. ET

As a reminder, our FantasyLabs NBA Player Props Tool leverages our projections against odds offered at various sportsbooks and grades each prop on a scale of 1 to 10. All odds as of 5:15 p.m. ET. View live odds here.

Spurs PF/C LaMarcus Aldridge

The Pick: Over 8.5 rebounds (-140)

Aldridge is coming off just four rebounds in his last game, but he’s in a great spot tonight. The Celtics rank just 22nd in team rebound rate this season, and they could potentially be without their top two centers today in Al Horford and Aron Baynes.

Aldridge has grabbed at least nine boards in 40 of 72 games this season, so this line feels a little low.

I like Aldridge’s rebounding prospects against a shorthanded Celtics’ frontcourt and would play the over up to -150.

Cavaliers F LeBron James

The Pick: Under 8.5 assists (-102)

James dished out 14 assists in his last game, which has caused his assist prop to become a little inflated. He’s tallied eight assists or fewer in five of his past seven games, and he’s racked up more than eight assists in just 42.3% of his starts this season.

LeBron has also seen a slight reduction in playing time recently and is currently projected for just 31.5 minutes in our NBA Models. The Kings are a good matchup — they’ve played at the second fastest pace this season — but it makes no sense to push LeBron after getting officially eliminated from playoff contention in their last game.

Betting an under on LeBron is obviously scary, but LeBron’s season is effectively over. I like the under up to -125.
