Just hours ahead of Selection Sunday for the men's 2024 NCAA Tournament, the Connecticut Huskies are the betting favorites to win the 2024 national title.

After opening the 2023-24 college basketball season at +1100 to win it all, UConn's odds to win the national title currently sit at +450. This is the shortest UConn's odds to cut down the nets in Phoenix have been all season.

Connecticut is also the only odds-on favorite to make the 2024 Final Four at -105.

The defending champion Huskies went 31-3 during the 2023-24 season, including 18-2 in conference play. They were No. 6 in the preseason AP poll.

We'll have to wait and see if Selection Sunday moves UConn's odds to win the national title at all, although any line movement should likely be minimal. The sportsbooks are already assuming that UConn will be the overall No. 1 seed, as on any betting market where you can wager on the exact order of the 1 seeds, every single option starts with UConn as the top overall seed.
