No Top-25 basketball teams will be taking the court on Friday, but that doesn’t mean we’re without Power Five basketball.
Maryland will take on Nebraska in a must-win game for the Terps if they want any chance at a non-automatic tournament bid. Maryland’s hopes weren’t looking too low before February rolled around, but five consecutive losses have the Terrapins in a dire spot.
Nebraska picked up its first conference win of the year last Wednesday against Minnesota, but it’s been yet another rough year for the Cornhuskers. At 7-18 (1-13 B1G), there aren’t many positives to be taken from the season.
The Cornhuskers will have a shot to pick up a second Big Ten win tonight, though, and this will be one of their best shots to do it as the year concludes.
