Maryland will play host to Michigan State in the Xfinity Center on Tuesday and The Action Network's PRO Report is loving this matchup.

The Spartans come into this game on an interesting run, picking up impressive wins over Wisconsin and Michigan, However, they fell to Northwestern and Illinois. Michigan State is ranked 13 in the country, but it hasn't been able to completely put it all together.

The Terrapins head into the contest with a similarly confusing streak, beating Illinois and Rutgers but falling to Michigan and Indiana. Perhaps that's a sign of a middle of the road Big Ten team, but these are absolutely vital games if the 'Terps want to make a tournament push.

As it stands, Michigan State is 16-4 overall and 7-2 in conference, while Maryland is 11-10 overall and 3-7 in the Big Ten. There are different stakes riding on this game for each squad, but it'll be vital both ways.

Here's who our PRO report is backing.
