In the early slot of the Big 12 tournament, TCU and Texas will square off in a game that has postseason implications far beyond just this tournament.
Texas is currently 21-10 (10-8 Big 12) while TCU sits at 19-11 (8-10 Big 12), so a win or a loss for each squad could prove to be crucial come selection time, either with seeding in Texas' case, or for TCU getting into the Big Dance.
While the Horned Frogs should be safe, there's no telling what could happen, and a loss could also slot them into a play-in game position which they'll surely want to avoid.
