Indiana Pick: Fernando Mendoza Under 16.5 Rush Yards

By Stuckey

I expect Fernando Mendoza to be sacked more often than he typically is, which will seriously affect his rushing total.

Mendoza averages around 18 rushing yards per game, but Miami has allowed just 14 total rushing yards to quarterbacks this season on 127 attempts, good for 0.1 yards per attempt.

The Hurricanes have faced several super mobile quarterbacks, including Trinidad Chambliss, Marcel Reed, Kyron Drones, and Kevin Jennings.

Mendoza isn’t quite that mobile.

Miami Pick: Carson Beck Under 0.5 Rush Yards

By Mike Calabrese

Don’t be fooled by the late-game scramble by Carson Beck in the Peach Bowl. He’s not going to earn any rushing yards in the National Championship game.

Beck will be under fire consistently against Indiana’s ruthless pass rush.

I expect this to be the eighth game of the season where Beck finishes with negative rushing yards.

Indiana Player Prop: Charlie Becker Over 3.5 Receptions

By Joshua Nunn

Charlie Becker is an exquisite third option for the Hoosiers.

He has great hands and always makes tough contested catches.

He’s earned 23 receptions over the past six games, and I think he’ll earn more than three in the National Championship.

Miami Player Prop: Joshisa Trader Over 3.5 Receiving Yards

By Collin Wilson

I’ll roll with my favorite name of any player in this game, Joshisa Trader, to earn a few receiving yards.

He’s received a target in eight straight games and caught a ball in seven of those eight games.

Typically, his targets are almost always for more than 2.5 yards — he’s averaging 13.7 yards per reception this season.

2026 National Championship Picks, Parlay

  • Fernando Mendoza Under 16.5 Rush Yards
  • Carson Beck Under 0.5 Rush Yards
  • Charlie Becker Over 3.5 Receptions
  • Joshisa Trader Over 3.5 Receiving Yards

Parlay Odds: +1400 (bet365)
