The BetMGM bonus code TOPACTION gives new users up to $1,500 back in bonus bets if their first wager loses, and Thursday's Panthers vs. Packers matchup offers a straightforward spot to use it. Carolina visits Green Bay at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video, with the Packers favored by around 3.5 points on most boards.
Both NFL teams are coming off losses, but the performances looked very different. Green Bay fell 20-17 at Detroit on a 22-yard field goal at the buzzer, while Carolina was blown out 43-13 at home by a Tampa Bay team that attempted only 11 passes. Our pick is Packers -3.5.

How the BetMGM Bonus Code TOPACTION Works
Register with BetMGM bonus code TOPACTION, deposit funds and place your first wager on NFL odds. If the bet wins, it pays normally. If it loses, BetMGM returns the stake in bonus bets up to $1,500.
Those bonus bets are non-withdrawable, so they must be wagered before any resulting winnings can be cashed out. That makes the BetMGM promo code TOPACTION most useful on a side or total you already like rather than a bet placed only for the promotion. Check BetMGM's full terms before wagering for details on issuance and expiration.
All BetMGM Offers
BetMGM does not use the same BetMGM bonus code in every state. Here are the current new-user NFL betting promos and where each one is available.

ACTIONGET works differently: wager at least $10, and if the bet wins, BetMGM adds $150 in bonus bets.

BetMGM Bonus Code Pick: Panthers vs. Packers
Green Bay is 4-3 and coming off a game it had chances to win. Jordan Love completed 27 of 45 passes for 274 yards and two touchdowns at Detroit, but two missed field goals from Trey Smack helped leave the door open for the Lions to win 20-17 on the final play. Carolina, meanwhile, is 3-3 after a 43-13 home loss to Tampa Bay.
The key matchup is Green Bay's rushing attack against Carolina's run defense. The Panthers allow 153.2 rushing yards per game, worst in the league, and Tampa Bay just piled up 258 yards on the ground. Josh Jacobs is also back after missing the first six games on the Commissioner's Exempt List. Green Bay's rushing offense has struggled, but this is a favorable matchup for a unit that badly needs improvement.
Carolina's offensive line creates another edge for the Packers. Right tackle Taylor Moton is on injured reserve with a broken fibula, while left guard Damien Lewis did not practice Monday or Tuesday because of a knee injury. Bryce Young was sacked five times Sunday and has been pressured on 44.3% of dropbacks when opponents rush four or fewer, the highest rate among qualified passers.
Green Bay has injury concerns of its own. Center Sean Rhyan and linebacker Zaire Franklin are expected to miss Thursday, while right guard Travis Glover and receiver Matthew Golden did not practice Monday or Tuesday. Micah Parsons is also not expected back until next week. The final Wednesday injury report was not available at the time of writing, so check statuses before kickoff.
Even with those absences, the Packers' defense leads the NFL with nine interceptions and now gets a young quarterback on a short week, on the road, behind an offensive line dealing with multiple injuries.
Pick: Packers -3.5
The matchup favors Green Bay on the ground and defensively. The Packers are coming off a three-point road loss that included two missed field goals, while Carolina enters with the league's worst run defense and an offensive line missing Moton with Lewis potentially unavailable as well.
Laying 3.5 is reasonable here. If the first bet does not win, TOPACTION provides bonus bets back up to $1,500.

Bottom Line
Green Bay is the stronger side on a short week at home, and Carolina's weak run defense and injury-hit offensive line give the Packers a favorable path to winning by more than a field goal. Packers -3.5 is our pick.
