Bettors Take Over $13 Million from FanDuel on Same Game Parlay During Seahawks vs. Cowboys article feature image

FanDuel had a tough day yesterday.

Bettors don't get many massive wins over the sportsbooks, but they pulled it off yesterday in the Thursday Night Football game between the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys.

When it comes to player props, the overs are always the popular bet. That means high-scoring games can mean trouble for the sportsbooks.

The game ended up with 76 total points scored and nine total touchdowns.

There was a parlay on FanDuel that had five different anytime touchdown scorers. It ranked as one of the top same game parlays before the game. The parlay had Tony Pollard, CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks and DK Metcalf to all score a TD.

The parlay had +3919 and over 20,000 users on FanDuel placed a wager on it.

A $10 wager would have paid $391.90. FanDuel paid out a total of $13.4 million on the four-leg parlay, according to Ben Fawkes.

.@FDSportsbook reports that it paid out $13.4 MILLION on a four-leg Cowboys-Seahawks SGP last night that over 20,000 people bet on at +3919 odds:

Although the public has had a good year betting on NFL games against the spread, it's rare to see such a massive win for the public on a parlay.

Sportsbooks are notorious for marketing same game parlays as it can be a massive moneymaker for them. It's nice to see the public win for a change.
