DeAndre Hopkins Next Team Odds: Chiefs, Bills Lead Top New Spots for 2023 Season

DeAndre Hopkins' next team odds are officially live following the Arizona Cardinals' release of the wide receiver on Friday. How's that for an NFL bombshell in May?
Hopkins, 30, had two years left on his deal with the Cardinals. The star-studded wide receiver can now choose among a handful of top new spots for the 2023 season, including the Chiefs, Bills and more.
Here's how Hopkins' next team odds stack up following his imminent departure from the rebuilding Cardinals, including expert analysis from our own Brandon Anderson.

Hopkins to the Chiefs: +300
"The Chiefs sure seem like a slam dunk," Anderson said. "Hopkins is WR1 with a bullet in Kansas City, far ahead of Kadarius Toney, Skyy Moore and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. He's a very different weapon than the departed Tyreek Hill, but man, it sure would be tempting to catch passes from Patrick Mahomes as the clear WR1."
The Chiefs are favored for back-to-back Super Bowls; adding Hopkins to the fold would more than likely require another adjustment to the Chiefs' futures odds.
Hopkins and Mahomes would be unfair for the rest of the league, and perhaps a blessing for Nuk, who was catching passes from Colt McCoy and Trace McSorley last season.
Hopkins to the Bills: +300
"It's hard to argue with the Bills and Chiefs as top options," Anderson said. "Gabe Davis never really found his fit next to Stefon Diggs, but he'd be an incredible WR3 with Hopkins in town."
Wide receiver isn't a dire need for the Bills, but the rich would absolutely get richer.
Hopkins to the Ravens: +700
"The Chiefs are a slam dunk, grand slam fit — if Kansas City actually wants Hopkins," Anderson said. "Otherwise, Baltimore is the most intriguing bet for me, both for landing place and possible futures."
