Jets Super Bowl Odds: How to Bet AFC East, Futures after Aaron Rodgers Announcement

Bettors have been loading up on the Jets 2023 Super Bowl odds all offseason, with the assumption the franchise would add a star quarterback.
It seems like we're at the 1-yard line. Aaron Rodgers said on Wednesday that his intention was to join the Jets next season.
The only things ensnaring the process appear to be operational — which staff will head to New York alongside Rodgers, which players will, how much his extension will be, etc.
So just like that, Super Bowl, AFC East and other futures markets are hot topics — especially for a title contender already attracting public support.

On Wednesday prior to the trade, the Jets were priced between +1400 and +1800 to win the Super Bowl.
At FanDuel, they're priced at +1500.
And they were +220 to win the AFC East at FanDuel, behind the Bills (+120).
Those odds stayed the same after the news Wednesday, indicating Rodgers to the Jets had effectively been factored into overall pricing.
One sportsbook did move odds down slightly. DraftKings moved the Jets from 16-1 to 14-1.
Still, those odds had steadily decreased over the last few weeks.
As recently as February, the Jets had been as long as 28-1 to win the Super Bowl.
Per our own Research Director Evan Abrams, the Jets haven't entered the regular season with shorter than 20-1 odds since 2011.
They've been popular bets virtually everywhere, getting littered with Super Bowl tickets at various sportsbooks.
Rodgers, who is owed more than $58 million in 2023, met with Jets brass last week.
Although next-team betting markets are low-limit plays of the novelty variety, it's worth noting the Raiders initially had the best odds (+450) of any team outside the Packers to land Rodgers.
The Jets were second (+650), followed by the Dolphins (+750).
Rodgers reunites with Nathaniel Hackett, who was fired as Broncos head coach mid-season and hired by the Jets to their OC position in January.
The 39-year-old quarterback led the Packers to an 8-9 record both straight-up and against the spread last season.
The Jets — who also finished 8-9 ATS — will happily pay up for a proven quarterback, fresh off owning the league's worst team passer rating.
