New England Patriots Betting Preview: Drake Maye Is Back
The Patriots are coming off a hard-fought Week 7 loss on Thursday Night Football to the Bears.
However, Drake Maye's early season struggles are now a distant memory, as the third-year quarterback is rolling right now, throwing 12 touchdowns with only two interceptions over his last four games.
With Maye playing at a high level, the Patriots are once again viewed as threats in the AFC.
Miami Dolphins Betting Preview: First Step Forward
The Dolphins got their first win of the year in Week 7, knocking off the Jets in a 28-25 victory.
Malik Willis was quite effective, completing 14-of-21 passes for 208 yards and two touchdowns. The return of rookie wideout Caleb Douglas paid immediate dividends, as he caught 2-of-3 targets for 70 yards and two touchdowns.
Ollie Gordon rushed for 100+ yards for the second time in the last three weeks. And duddenly, the Dolphins offense is coming together.

I'm going with the Dolphins +7. I like that we're getting seven points on the home underdogs.
Aside from last week's 28-25 win over the Jets, the Dolphins have played in close games lately. They lost by seven to the Bengals and by five to the Vikings.
With A.J. Brown and TreVeyon Henderson ruled out, and Romeo Doubs already on injured reserve, the Patriots are a bit limited when it comes to playmakers.
To that end, I'm looking at Miami to stay competitive once again.

I'm riding with Ollie Gordon Over 61.5 rushing yards.
He's been terrific in De'Von Achane's absence, rushing for 100, 88, and 103 yards in his last three games.
The Patriots are worse against the run (22nd in EPA) than against the pass (16th in EPA). We've seen both D'Andre Swift and Braelon Allen run for 78 yards vs. New England in the last two weeks.
I think this game will be closer than expected, keeping Gordon's rushing volume intact, which should get him to this number.
