The Patriots defense has been using a lot of man coverage this season, and Wilson’s target rate jumps off the page when facing man defenses this year.
Look for the Jets to move him around and get another TD in Week 6.
Saints vs Giants TD Pick: Isaiah Likely
Isaiah Likely has four TDs this season and is finally having his breakout with the Giants.
In three games with Jameis Winston at QB, Likely has taken off. He has four red-zone targets and leads the team in targets per route run. He may as well be the WR2 in this offense.
The weather looks clear at MetLife, so let’s take Likely for another TD.
Cardinals vs Rams TD Pick: Trey McBride
Trey McBride is clearly the top receiving option on the Cardinals, with 10+ targets in each game. He’s tied for second in the NFL with 10 red-zone targets this year.
QB Jacoby Brissett has a clear game plan, and that’s to spam McBride with targets every game.
Facing the Rams, the Cardinals could be in a trailing game script and have to throw a lot of the game.
