The Washington Capitals travel to Chicago to take on the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night.

One of Action Network's Pro Systems has alerted this game as a PRO Systems play, and the system has hit 11 of its last 12 picks.

The Capitals sit atop the Metropolitan Division with a 17-5-6 record. They have won three of their last four games and have not played in four days.

The Caps have been dealing with some COVID issues and haven't been able to practice much over the last week. Evegeny Kuznetsov remains in COVID protocol, but Nicklas Backstrom is expected to make his debut for the Caps.

The Blackhawks have had a tough start to their season. They currently sit in seventh place out of eight teams in the Central Division with a 10-15-2 record.

They had a game canceled against the Flames this week due to the Flames' COVID issues, but the Blackhawks haven't reported issues of their own.
