Blackhawks vs. Red Wings Pick
I think I may have a new favorite player in hockey.
For as bad as the Red Wings have been, forward Emmitt Finnie has been one of the game's most exciting players. The combination of speed and his wicked shot makes for "must-see" territory.
The problem is, he's on the Red Wings, so who wants to actually watch that?
Finnie hasn't done much to get involved in high danger chances, as he's only recorded one all season long, but he's tied for second on the team in goals scored alongside Viktor Arvidsson.
He started his season fairly slow with just a point in the first five games, but in his last seven, he's ripped off seven points, including a goal in four of them.
But one thing you can do is expect him to fire the puck. Facing the Blackhawks one of hockey's worst teams on the defensive end, Finnie is a prime candidate to record two or more shots. He currently attempts 3.6 shots per game, and he's been fairly accurate, with only seven of them missing the net, and 12 of them getting blocked. Everything else has been on net.
With Dylan Larkin now sitting out until he's traded, that allows Finnie to assume the first-line center role, opening up the floodgates for this shot prop to hit.
Best Bet: Emmitt Finnie Over 1.5 Shots on Goal
