The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning clash on Thursday night in a matchup between two top teams in the Eastern Conference.
The Lightning need no introduction, they've won back-to-back Stanley Cups and are consistently one of the best teams in the NHL. But they currently stand two points behind the Leafs in the Atlantic Division.
The Leafs hold an 18-7-2 record on the season and are tied for the most points in the NHL so far–having played two more games than the Florida Panthers. The Lightning are not far behind them with a 17-4-4 record.
