There have been some rocky moments for Spurs under manager Antonio Conte. However, he has his side in its best form of the season ahead of the stretch run.

While I do think Tottenham would be a good team to get behind for another victory, my attention is locked into a total I feel is too low. That said, my best bet is to back the total clearing 2.5 goals at -115 odds.

Starting first with the visitors, Spurs have averaged 2.45 xG per 90 minutes and 3.5 goals per game over their last six league matches. This has been something that has improved greatly under Conte. Since his appointment, Tottenham has owned a 2.08 xG per contest average, scoring in multiple games in 14 out of 20 (70%) EPL fixtures.

Meanwhile, Villa has been no stranger to higher-scoring games either. This same bet would have cashed in four of the club's last five in the English top flight and in six of its last eight contests at Villa Park.
