Carmine Carcieri's Alcaraz vs Sinner Preview, Prediction
Jannik Sinner Betting Preview
After Friday's semifinal victory over Novak Djokovic, Sinner is 18-1 since returning from his suspension. He still hasn't dropped a set at this edition of Roland Garros and has lost just four sets in his last 20 Grand Slam matches.
Sinner had just a 52% first-serve percentage against Djokovic on Friday, but still beat the veteran in straights, 6-4, 7-5, 7-6.
It's amazing how consistently impressive the Italian has been in 2025, especially since these victories aren't just coming against lower-ranked opponents.
In fact, 10 of Sinner's 18 wins in 2025 have come against players ranked in the top 20, showing how truly dominant he's been.
Carlos Alcaraz Betting Preview
The only player in arguably better form than Alcaraz right now is his opponent.
The Spaniard came into this event with 1000 titles in Monte-Carlo and Rome, an appearance in the final in Barcelona and a 30-5 overall record in 2025.
That sharp play has continued in this tournament, as Alcaraz ousted Tommy Paul, Lorenzo Musetti and Ben Shelton, among others, on his way to the championship match.
Yes, he's lost four sets in Paris thus far (including one to Damir Dzumhur and one to Fabian Marozsan) and Musetti was forced to retire to due to an injury in their semifinal match, but Alcaraz's play has been eye-catching, especially in the quarters against Paul.
It's no surprise that he has all the tools to pull off a second straight Roland Garros title, including consistency, strong fitness, great mental toughness and a love for the surface.
Alcaraz vs Sinner Predictions, Betting Analysis
This is the rivalry meeting we've all been waiting for as the future of tennis is here and now.
Surprisingly, Alcaraz has won the last four meetings against Sinner — including a semifinal victory at last year's French Open — and seven of the 11 matchups overall.
On paper, it seems like Alcaraz has the upper hand, especially on clay.
But when digging deeper, these two have faced off three times at a Grand Slam. Two of those three meetings went the distance, with both of them clearing this total.
Their US Open meeting in 2022 was one of the best and most memorable matches over the last few years in tennis, and now both of these players are competing at an even higher level.
This is essentially a bet on this match going five sets, which I'm willing to wager on since these two are so evenly matched.
Pick: Over 39.5; Bet to Over 40.5
