The Polish player, with no WTA singles titles in her career and ranked 114 on the circuit, eliminated Elise Mertens, Maria Sakkari and Anna Kalinskaya on her way to this semifinal.
With absolutely nothing to lose, she has used her tactical style of play to mess with opponents and gain an advantage, wherever she can find it.
