Sinner dominates the head-to-head 4-2 against Bublik. The current US Open champion wants to start strong and avoid a surprise against the unpredictable Kazakh, who outlasted American Tommy Paul in the previous round.

Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Bublik Preview, Prediction

Jannik Sinner Betting Preview

Someone finally took a set from Sinner at the US Open.

Denis Shapovalov was able to win the first set 7-5 against the World No.1 by being effective at the most crucial moments. The Canadian had only two break points in that set and converted both of them.

However, most of the blame goes to Sinner. He dug a hole for himself with four double faults and had only 55% of his first serves in.

What happened later was what we are all used to seeing — Shapovalov crumbled and Sinner took over and won the next three sets: 6-4, 6-3, 6-3.

The challenge for the champion remains the same. If he can play his game and avoid costly mistakes, he will likely win most sets against anyone in New York, maybe even Carlos Alcaraz.

Alexander Bublik Betting Preview

A great match from Alexander Bublik and an untimely injury for Tommy Paul ultimately decided that the Kazakh will be Sinner's rival on Monday.

It was a five-set thriller that ended with the American clearly struggling in the last one, which Bublik won 6-1.

Bublik's serve was outstanding as he did not drop a game with it, successfully winning the six break-point opportunities Paul had in the match. The Kazakh had 22 aces and won 83% of first-serve points during the match.

This has been Bublik's best year on the tour, with three of his total seven titles coming in 2025. In May, he finally advanced past the third round of a Grand Slam at Roland Garros, where he reached the quarterfinals.

Hence, this will be only his second time playing in a major tournament's fourth round.

Sinner vs Bublik Predictions, Betting Analysis

There are three big issues for Bublik in this match.

First, hard courts are not his best surface. In fact, he has his lowest winning percentage on the surface (career 48.3%) and a poor 3-9 record this year. Even though he got three of his titles on this surface, all of them were at indoor tournaments.

Second, Bublik just played five grueling sets.

And third, his opponent is Sinner.

Sinner has the head-to-head advantage 4-2, and he was the one who sent Bublik packing at Roland Garros in May with a straight-sets victory. Bublik had his revenge on grass in Halle three weeks later, but in both matchups played on hard courts, the Italian came out on top, and both were in 2021, when Sinner wasn't nearly as good a player as he is today.

Look for Sinner to keep his title defense going and back him on the spread at a great value.
