Carlos Avilan's Andreeva vs Boisson Preview, Prediction
Mirra Andreeva Betting Preview
Mirra Andreeva might be on a revenge mission here. Not against Lois Boisson, of course, since they have never played before.
But if Andreeva wins, she could meet Coco Gauff in the semifinals, and that would probably mean a lot to her.
Andreeva's favorite surface is clay, and she began Roland Garros with the fourth-best odds to win it all.
At the beginning of 2025, she lifted two trophies on hard courts. Her clay season was also excellent, except one player cut her path short twice, first in Madrid, then in Rome. You can guess who she was.
To defeat Boisson, Andreeva must maintain her aggressiveness and impressive net game while keeping her first serve sharp.
Andreeva also has no problem with patiently waiting to strike a winner when the moment in the rally calls for it, or just keeping the ball between the lines to force her rival to take a chance.
She has won every set in this French Open, and the closest score was 7-5 to end the previous match against Daria Kasatkina.
Lois Boisson Betting Preview
Who is Lois Boisson? Her defeated rivals know for sure now, as do the Roland Garros crowd.
If you go to the WTA tour website, her profile does not even have a picture —just a dark silhouette.
Her current ranking is No. 361, which will soon benefit greatly from this performance at the French Open. She has not won a title yet, but the 21-year-old has a 16-7 record in 2025, so she is clearly enjoying her time in the courts right now.
In her first Grand Slam main draw appearance, Boisson has been brilliant. She has converted a wild card into a shot at fame by beating Elise Mertens (6-4, 4-6, 6-3), Anhelina Kalinina (6-1, 6-2), Elsa Jacquemot (6-3, 0-6, 7-5) and Jessica Pegula (3-6, 6-4, 6-4).
Eliminating the third-seeded Pegula was a shocking result, and it could have been enough for Boisson to feel accomplished in this tournament.
However, with nothing to lose and the crowd behind her, she could try to get many more people to know her name and put a face next to it.
Andreeva vs Boisson Predictions, Betting Analysis
Andreeva has not had any issues getting past better players than Boisson in Paris, so anything other than a two-set victory would be a surprise.
