In the quarterfinals against Zverev, Djokovic didn't look like a 38-year-old tennis player who pulled out of Rome a few weeks ago because of a clay-court funk.
Instead, he looked like the Djokovic we all know and love, using his fitness and mental toughness to keep Zverev off balance and his lethal groundstrokes and drop-shot change ups to bury the German in four sets.
Beyond getting broken in the first game of the match, Djokovic was sharp — as he has been for much of this French Open — and the far better player, despite Zverev being ranked higher.
Unsurprisingly, Zverev became predictable and lost his cool, which is something you won't see from Djokovic.
However, if Djokovic is going to have a chance at winning Grand Slam No. 25, he's going to have to raise his game to an even higher level.
