The second round of Wimbledon starts on Wednesday at the All England Club, and there are plenty of matches to like from a betting perspective. Let's look at a pair of WTA matches below.
Here are my previews and Round 2 Wimbledon predictions for Emma Raducanu vs Marketa Vondrousova and Madison Keys vs Olga Danilovic.

These players have a common history of enjoying early success in the WTA, particularly at Grand Slams.
Marketa Vondrousova played the 2019 Roland Garros final at 19 years old, and Emma Raducanu won the 2021 US Open when she was 18.
They also share more than a few ups and downs — injuries, and surgeries — but they now meet at Wimbledon playing great tennis.
The head-to-head favors Vondrousova 2-1, with the last two victories in two easy sets on clay and hard court. Raducanu won their first encounter, back in 2021 (her breakout season), in the second round of this tournament.
Vondrousova is experiencing a comeback, having won her last six matches on grass while claiming the title in Berlin, where she beat Madison Keys, Ons Jabeur, and Aryna Sabalenka. She is also a Grand Slam champion, with the 2023 Wimbledon title on her resume, her last singles trophy before Berlin this month.
The Czech player likes to play slices and drop shots to move her rival around, but as a lefty, her topspin on grass against the backhand of righties can wreak havoc. She is aggressive with her forehand and will probably challenge Raducanu to a baseline shootout.
Raducanu has the serve advantage and the crowd behind her, so this should not be an easy match for anyone. The Brit can fight off Vondrousova with her solid two-handed backhand, but will need her top game to advance.
Pick: Vondrousova -3.5 (-110 via BetMGM)
Keys vs Danilovic Odds
Madison Keys Odds | -450 |
Olga Danilovic Odds | +310 |
Spread | Keys -4.5 (-110), Danilovic +4.5 (-125) |
Over/Under | 20.5 (-140o / -102u) |

Madison Keys is having some unexpected trouble on grass.
In the lead-up to this tournament, the American lost to Vondrousova in the first round in Berlin, but it was a tight contest against a former Wimbledon champion, so it did not seem like a big deal.
However, her complicated victory in three sets on Monday against an ailing Elena-Gabriela Ruse should serve as a wake-up call. If anything, she can see it as a sign of better things to come, since something similar happened against the Romanian in the Australian Open in January (a tough three-set win) — Keys then went on to win the trophy.
Keys must improve her serve efficiency from the 62% shown in her debut, as well as reduce the unforced errors (34).
This will be her first match against Olga Danilovic, who advanced convincingly with a 6-2, 6-2 win against Shuai Zhang. However, Danilovic is primarily a clay specialist, ranking 16th on that surface compared to 54th on hard courts and 61st on grass.
If Keys wants to make a run at the title, this is her chance to show she means it.
Pick: Under 20.5 (-102 via BetMGM)
