No Arrows for Fernando Rodney or Twins Bettors
It wasn't a fun day to be a Twinkies bettor.
The Twins (+187) took a 3-1 lead into bottom of the ninth inning and a nice payout was coming your way.
Minnesota's closer, Fernando Rodney, came in for the save. He'd have to face the heart of the Yankees order, but at least he was working with a two-run cushion.
Then things took a turn. Didi Gregorius reached to start the inning on a Miguel Sano error. Giancarlo Stanton then reached on an infield single hit to Sano.
Two on. Nobody out.
Then…

See ya. He is Gary.
Sorry, Twins bettors. Brutal beat. Tough afternoon to bet baseball.
