Braves vs Mets Preview, Parlay Picks
I'm backing the Mets here due to a significant pitching advantage.
Clay Holmes has been solid all season, posting a 7-4 record and a near-3.00 ERA.
On the other side, Braves pitching could be a bit of a mess tonight, as Didier Fuentes takes the mound with a 7.00 ERA. He got rocked in his last outing against Miami, and the Mets are a much stronger offensive team.
Back the Mets to win this one tonight.
Acuna has been incredible since returning from injury, hitting nearly .400 with nine home runs and 16 RBIs.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that he’s the best leadoff hitter in the game.
He’s recorded a hit in all but four games this season — and in each of those cases, he’s bounced back with two or more hits in the very next game.
Acuna didn’t get a hit yesterday, so we’re following the trend and betting on him to get at least one today.
